Heartland Small Animal Rescue
The Guinea Shed proudly supports Heartland Small Animal Rescue. They work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome guinea pigs and other small animals who need a second chance.

Shelters and rescues across the country are full of guinea pigs waiting for forever homes. Adopting rather than buying from a pet store gives a pig a second chance and helps reduce the demand that drives overbreeding.
Rescued guinea pigs are often already socialized and sometimes come in bonded pairs, which means less stress for you and for them. Many rescues also provide health checks and spay/neuter services before adoption.
Not ready to adopt? There are still plenty of ways to help: fostering, donating supplies, volunteering your time, or simply spreading the word about guinea pigs in need.
